It is almost the weekend and the beginning of what we Canadians refer to as May 2 4 (pronounced Maay Tu Furr eh).
There is no doubt about it this weekend will be filled with good times, good people, and good food.
The barbecue will be loaded with hamburgers, chicken, veggies, tofu, and beef in all its glory guided by the steady hand of the Barbecue Overlord.
One barbecue staple that is loved by everyone (especially kids) is the humble hotdog.
You can cook this “cousin of the sausage” anyway you like: boil, bake, microwave, grill or barbecue them it is a matter of preference.
