The brining process makes it nearly impossible to overcook and it’s both leaner and juicer than regular bacon. 🐷 Cooked peameal bacon can be kept in a freezer with a temperature of 0° F or less for up to one year (not that it will last that long before it’s eaten!) The low cost of peameal bacon and the ability to use it in a variety of different meals, makes it a go to choice when wanting the most bang for your buck.
