Hint: Adding a little water to the frying pan will create steam and help melt the cheese faster.

Remember: Use mayonnaise instead of butter, it has a higher smoke point than butter, so it won’t start to burn before you get to golden-brown.

Cooking

  1. In a large pan on medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
  1. Place facedown a slice of bread with butter or mayonnaise (butter / mayo side down). Add ham, bacon, or vegetables to your grilled cheese and top with another slice of bread that has mayonnaise on one side (mayo side up).
  1. Cook for about 3 minutes and then flip the grilled cheese sandwich and cook for another 3 minutes.
  1. After you have flipped the sandwich, melt another tablespoon of butter and add one large egg (you can scramble it if you prefer).
  1. Once the egg has reached your preferred taste, place it on top of the grilled cheese sandwich then drizzle your favorite ZEG Sauces over the egg. Serve and enjoy!
