Hint: Adding a little water to the frying pan will create steam and help melt the cheese faster.
Remember: Use mayonnaise instead of butter, it has a higher smoke point than butter, so it won’t start to burn before you get to golden-brown.
Cooking
- In a large pan on medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Place facedown a slice of bread with butter or mayonnaise (butter / mayo side down). Add ham, bacon, or vegetables to your grilled cheese and top with another slice of bread that has mayonnaise on one side (mayo side up).
- Cook for about 3 minutes and then flip the grilled cheese sandwich and cook for another 3 minutes.
- After you have flipped the sandwich, melt another tablespoon of butter and add one large egg (you can scramble it if you prefer).
- Once the egg has reached your preferred taste, place it on top of the grilled cheese sandwich then drizzle your favorite ZEG Sauces over the egg. Serve and enjoy!
