Hint: First, put a light coating of olive oil directly on the chicken to help prevent sticking. Second, keep the grill temperature around 350°F. If the temperature is too high the chicken will stick.

Remember: You don’t have to marinade these chicken wings before grilling, they will have an abundant amount of flavour if you add the ZEG Sauces at the end of cooking.

Cooking

  1. Oil your grill racks and then prepare your grill for direct grilling over medium heat about 350ºF. You can keep one burner off or on low in case some of the wings are cooked before others.
  1. Cook the wings for about 20-25 minutes total. Begin by leaving the lid closed for a few minutes. Then check wings and if some are starting to char too much flip them over and move them to a cooler part of the grill. Keep monitoring and flipping as they all darken. After 15 minutes, use an instant read thermometer in the center of a few wings to make sure that they’ve all reached 165ºF. If some aren’t quite there, give them another 5 minutes. What you want are wings that are nicely charred on all sides and cooked through.
  1. Use tongs to transfer fully-cooked wings to a large bowl.
  1. Add your favourite ZEG Sauces by drizzling the sauce over wings then toss the wings ensuring each wing is covered in sauce. Serve these beautifully flavoured wings hot and enjoy!
