The co-owner of the restaurant Anchor Bar, Teressa Bellissimo, cooked leftover chicken wings and used hot sauce as a late-night snack for her son and his friends.

Once smoothed in different flavours and spices, the chicken wing took off and can now be found in multiple cuisines around the world!
