Remember: Use your thumb to make a depression in the center of each burger to allow it to expand and cook evenly.
Cooking
- Sautéed some onions by heating some oil in a non-stick pan then add your sliced onions.
- Once the onions begin to soften, add 1 teaspoon of: salt, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar.
- Cook until browned and caramelized, stirring frequently.
- Combine the ground meat with 2 tbsp. of your favourite ZEG sauce. Mix lightly with your hands and form into 3-inch balls.
- Flatten into patties and make a small depression in the centre of each patty with your thumb.
- Cook the eggs as the burgers cooked, being careful to keep the yolks runny.
- On a fresh bun, place your cooked hamburger, cooked bacon, the fried egg, sautéed onions, and drizzle more of your favourite ZEG sauce on top for a burger that will make you feel like royalty!
