Hint: Broiling the best way to achieve a nacho platter with toasty chips and melted cheese.

Cooking
- Preheat oven to 425 ° F.
- Line a baking sheet with tin foil.
- Spread the tortilla chips over the baking sheet.
- In a large skillet/pan over medium heat, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add 1diced onion and cook until soft.
- Add 1 lbs of ground beef to onion and cook until no longer pink. Drain fat from skillet / pan.
- Add 2 diced garlic cloves and 3 tablespoons of your favourite ZEG sauce to the meat and vegetable mixture.
- Cook until meat and vegetable mixture are well browned.
- Add 1 can of refried beans and 1/4 cup of water to skillet and stir until combined.
- Take half of the tortilla chips and top with: the beef-vegetable mixture, one cup of the shredded cheddar cheese, 1 cup of the shredded Monterey Jack cheese, and half the pickled jalapeños. Repeat on top for one more layer.
- Broil for approximately 5 minutes to bring out the flavour of the tortilla chips and melt the cheese.
- Take out the nachos and scatter on top with tomato, avocado, green onions, and cilantro if you want. Drizzle your favourite ZEG sauce to give it one last flavour boost and serve immediately.
