Hint: Serve these simple sandwiches with a pickle and some potato chips.

Remember: If you have a sandwich press it will make these sandwiches even better!

Cooking

  1. Brush the outside slice of bread with vinegar and spread your favourite ZEG sauce on the inside of the slices of bread.
  2. Top the ZEG sauce side with mozzarella, a little basil, ham, peppers (green or red), and tomato. Top with remaining bread half ZEG sauce side down.
  3. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Coat pan with cooking spray.
  4. Add the sandwich to the pan and cook 3 minutes on each side or until golden.
  5. Cut sandwich in half and serve with your favourite ZEG sauce for dipping and be ready for a flavour explosion!
