Hint: Serve these simple sandwiches with a pickle and some potato chips.
Remember: If you have a sandwich press it will make these sandwiches even better!
Cooking
- Brush the outside slice of bread with vinegar and spread your favourite ZEG sauce on the inside of the slices of bread.
- Top the ZEG sauce side with mozzarella, a little basil, ham, peppers (green or red), and tomato. Top with remaining bread half ZEG sauce side down.
- Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Coat pan with cooking spray.
- Add the sandwich to the pan and cook 3 minutes on each side or until golden.
- Cut sandwich in half and serve with your favourite ZEG sauce for dipping and be ready for a flavour explosion!
