Hint: If you prefer less chunky meatballs, use onion powder and garlic powder. If you like chunky meatballs, use finely minced fresh garlic and onion.

Remember: Even after these meatballs are glazed in ZEG sauce, they are a great food to refrigerate or freeze to stock up throughout the week!

Cooking

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with foil and a little cooking spray.
  2. Mix together in a large bowl: 1 pound of either ground beef / chicken / turkey / pork, 1 egg, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 cup grated Parmesan, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon salt and black pepper to taste.
  3. Roll the mixture into about 30 small balls and place on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes and let rest.
  5. While the meatballs are resting, pour your favourite ZEG sauce over top of the meatballs and let sit for 5 minutes. Serve while warm and these versatile meatball gems will be the talk of the town!
