Hint: Broccoli salad may be served immediately but for the best flavour, refrigerate for at least one hour before serving. Toss the broccoli salad thoroughly for a second time before serving.

Remember: If you have left overs you can keep them in the fridge for up to two days. If keeping the salad and dressing separately, it will last up to four days.

Cooking

  1. Combine 6 cups of broccoli florets, 1 cup of sharp cheddar cheese, 2/3 cup of dried cranberry, ½ cup of crumbled bacon, ½ cup of salted sunflower seeds and 1/3 cup diced red onion into a large bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together ¾ cup of mayonnaise, ¼ cup of sour cream, 3 tablespoons of your favourite ZEG Sauces.
  3. Pour the dressing over the broccoli combination and toss well.
  4. Keep the broccoli salad refrigerated if not consuming right away. Enjoy!
