Even if you’re not a huge mathematics fan, you can still celebrate National Pi Day!
Every year on March 14, people celebrate National Pi Day as it stands for the first three significant digits of the mathematical constant and Greek letter pi or π or 3.14, which is used in a number of mathematical formulas.
Ever since physicist Larry Shaw launched the first Pi party day at the San Francisco Exploratory and Science Museum in 1988, people have been celebrating this mysterious number in many different ways.
For mathematicians, reciting as many digits of Pi is one way to mark the occasion.
Others, prefer to stuff their faces with dessert pies and pizza pies!
There is nothing better than celebrating National Pi Day by having a slice (or two) of your favorite type of dessert pie whether it’s apple, pecan, strawberry rhubarb or key lime.
And if that’s not sweet enough, you can also chow down on your favourite pizza pie – pepperoni, double cheese, vegetarian or pineapple!
So, if you’re going to celebrate National Pi Day with a pizza, try using your favourite ZEG Sauces as your sauce base and/or drizzled on top.
To get you started, here is a great recipe: Barbecue Pizza with ZEG Sauce.
The smoky and full flavoured taste of ZEG Sauces will turn your pizza into a national success without all the math! Enjoy!
