Hint: The best way to tell if your fish is done is by testing it with a fork at an angle, at the thickest point and twist gently. The fish will flake easily when it’s done and it will lose its translucent or raw appearance. Rule of thumb is to cook the fish to an internal temperature of 140-145°F.

Remember: For this fish recipe, your best bet is to use a flaky white fish such as tilapia, halibut, cod, bass, grouper, haddock, catfish or snapper. White fish doesn’t mean that the fish is white in color, rather it is a mild-flavored fish that cooks quickly and seasons very well.

Cooking

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  1. Cut out two large squares of aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Put your favourite fish fillets (any type of white fish) in the middle of each square and fold up the sides to create a bowl shape (best to use two squares per fillet for easy clean up).
  1. Add your favourite ZEG Sauces on top of the fish. Fold up the sides to create a packet, scrunching the top of the foil together so that no liquid or steam can escape.
  1. Bake in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until the fish is cooked through (flakey to touch of fork). Take fish out of packet and place on bed of rice with green vegetables. Once you try this recipe you will put ZEG Sauces on all your fish and seafood for a mouth-watering flavour burst! Enjoy!
