Hint: Serve your kebabs with naan or a similar flatbread, grilled tomatoes and onions.

Remember: You can adjust this recipe by adding up to a teaspoon of the following: ground ginger, turmeric, or minced garlic for unique flavours.

Cooking

  1. Prepare ingredients: 1 pound of lean ground beef, 1 onion chopped finely, 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley, 3 tablespoons of your favourite ZEG Sauces.
  1. Mix all of the ingredients together in a large mixing bowl and cover. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour or longer to allow the flavors to blend.
  1. Preheat the grill and prepare it for your kebabs.
  1. To make kebabs, take small amounts of the beef mixture and shape them into cylinders or sausage shapes. Skewer the meat, squeezing it to mold it to the skewer.
  1. Cook the kebabs until an internal temperature of 160°F is reached. It may take more or less time depending on how hot the grill is and how thick you shaped the kebabs. Watch carefully so you don’t dry out the meat.
  1. Serve immediately with your favourite ZEG Sauces or wrap in aluminum foil to keep hot while you cook additional kebabs. Enjoy!
